The underlying\nreason for this is typically an ESD strike that confuses the I2C block\nin the silicon, resulting in extremely long (possibly unbounded) delay\ntimes waiting for the interface to become idle again.\n\nIn these cases, we should skip the transfer abort and just reset the\ninterface.
