This mostly fixes references and adds\nsurrounding infrastructure to make this mostly loadable and somewhat\nrunnable.\n\nNote that the \"autodetecting\" name is misleading: it doesn\u0027t really\nautodetect anything. But it\u0027s the established name and part of the\npublic API.\n\nThe autodetecting toolchain is trimmed down from what Bazel does. The\nBazel version has a Python 2 variant and a \"non strict\" mode to support\nthat.
