"message": "chore: remove non-toolchain runtime resolution logic. (#3280)\n\nFinding the Python runtime via toolchain resolution has been enabled by\ndefault for\nmany years. Toolchains are the preferred mechanism for specifying Python\nruntime info.\nUsage of the non-toolchain ways should be approximately zero, and they\u0027d\nbe considered\nunsupported anyways. Hence this is not considered a breaking change.\n\nThis PR removes support for\n\n- \"If toolchains disabled\" logic\n(`--incompatible_use_python_toolchains`)\n- `configuration_field` on `python_top` (`--python_top` flag)\n- `_py_interpreter` attribute (plumbing for python_top flag)\n\nWork towards https://github.com/bazel-contrib/rules_python/issues/3252.\n\n---------\n\nCo-authored-by: Richard Levasseur \u003crichardlev@gmail.com\u003e\nCo-authored-by: gemini-code-assist[bot] \u003c176961590+gemini-code-assist[bot]@users.noreply.github.com\u003e",
