  "message": "Refuse to compress an input the stream format cannot express\n\nInternalCompress checked the 2^32-byte limit with an assert only, so\nevery NDEBUG build compressed a larger input into a stream whose length\nvarint held N mod 2^32 while the body carried all N bytes. The check is\nnow a runtime refusal at the single funnel every compression entry point\nuses: nothing is written and zero is returned, which no successful\ncompression can return; snappy_compress returns SNAPPY_INVALID_INPUT.\nThe headers document the limit and a test drives a 4 GiB Source without\nmaterialising it.\n",
