pw_build: Build upstream Pigweed code with -Wpedantic - Enable pedantic warnings for upstream Pigweed builds. - Use std::array instead of C arrays in pw_protobuf codegen to avoid zero-length arrays. - Cast pointers to void* when using %p in printf-style statements. - Do not create empty structs in C. - Do not return void expressions in C. - Disable pedantic warnings related to features added in newer C++ standards (designated initializers, empty variadic arguments in macros). - Temporarily disable the nested-anon-types warning until these issues are fixed (b/243045403). Pigweed is an open source collection of embedded-targeted libraries–or as we like to call them, modules. These modules are building blocks and infrastructure that enable faster and more reliable development on small-footprint MMU-less 32-bit microcontrollers like the STMicroelectronics STM32L452 or the Nordic nRF52832.
